NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF READING TAX INCREMENT FINANCE AUTHORITY AMENDED AND REINSTATED
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of the Recodified Tax Increment Financing Act, Act 57 of the
Michigan Public Acts of 2018, that the Reading City Council shall hold a Public Hearing, as part of their regular meeting,
held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:30 P.M in Reading City Hall, Council Chambers, 113 S. Main Street, Reading,
MI 49274.

The purpose of the public hearing is to hear and consider public comments on the City of Reading Tax Increment
Finance Authority’s Proposed Amended and Reinstated Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan
(the “Plan”), prior to approval by the Reading City Council.

The proposed Development Area covers much of the eastern half of the city from except for an area approximately
bounded on the north by Michigan St, on the west by Main St, south by Walnut St, and east by Railroad St., see full
legal description on page(s) 16-18 of the proposed plan document. Maps, proposed projects, a description of the
development plan, a summary of community input, and the proposed tax increment finance forecast are available for
inspection on the City of Reading website at www.reading.mi.us/TIFA or in the City Clerk/Treasurer’s Office at City
Hall, 113 S. Main Street, Reading, MI 49274, during normal business hours.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend this public hearing, if you are unable to attend, but wish to have your comments
recognized, you may do so in writing by mailing or delivering them to the Reading City Clerk, 113 S. Main Street, PO Box
240, Reading, MI 49274. In order to be recognized, any written comments must be received by the City Clerk/Treasurer no
later than 5:00 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
