The last day to pay your 2026 Summer Property Taxes without penalty is
MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026

Drop Box: Reading City Hall-Secure Drop Box located on the backside of City Hall
building (alleyway between City Hall and Post Office)
Pay by Mail: Mail your payment to:
City of Reading, 113 S. Main Street, PO Box 240, Reading, MI 49274
IN PERSON at Reading City Hall during normal business hours.
Beginning September 1, 2026, there will be a 4% penalty and 1% interest added.
Tax bills are payable to the City of Reading through March 1, 2027.
