2026 April 28 Notice of Public Accuracy Test

Notice of Public Accuracy Test
for the Special Election to be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026
To the qualified electors of the CITY of Reading and in
the COUNTY of Hillsdale, STATE of Michigan
Please take notice that a Public Accuracy Test shall be conducted for the
electronic equipment that will be used to tabulate the votes in each
precinct for the May 5, 2026 Special Election.

Election law requires that
Public Accuracy Tests be conducted to demonstrate the computer
programming used to tabulate the votes cast.
Public Accuracy Tests for the City of Reading will be
conducted as follows:
Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM in the
Reading City Hall Council Chambers.

Persons with disabilities needing accommodations should contact the City Clerk’s Office.

This Notice is given on behalf of the Reading City Clerk, in compliance with MCL 168.798.
