SNOW EMERGENCY – CITY OF READING In Effect Now Through Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00 AM

The Reading Police Department and the Department of Public Works have issued a Snow Emergency for the City of Reading, effective immediately, and remaining in effect until Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00 AM.

During this Snow Emergency, parking of any motor vehicle or trailer on any public street, highway, parking lot, or alleyway within the City of Reading is prohibited.

This declaration is intended to ensure that crews can safely and efficiently clear the streets. While issuing violations is not our preference, the Reading Police Department may issue citations, and vehicles and/or trailers may be removed at the owner’s expense if found in violation.

Residents and property owners are also reminded that sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice by 10:00 AM after snowfall has ended.
